The storytelling and artwork are amazing.
You can feel the struggle of the main character in all of the choices he is forced to make. The real world is not all sunshine and rainbows, and this world is no different. What is real, is that choices have consequences. The author does a great job of laying the groundwork to put the reader inside the mind of the main character and lets us see the process for making decisions, and the fallout of those decisions. The artwork spread throughout the book really helps build on the world that is laid out in the print.
