The Fallow Chronicles

A Dark, Sword and Sorcery Fantasy Series

A continent plagued with vicious men and violent monsters.

The dark fantasy setting of Fallow houses wild worlds of magic and monsters that push its inhabitants to make awful decisions and then rise to challenges they never imagined facing. The setting is home to an ongoing series of stories, each focused on different characters. Each nation, from the deserts of Anathest to the undead Wretched pushing forward their bone wall in Humay, gives birth to both traumatized and inspiring characters. Start with Just Anaz for a taste of Fallow, then follow as future stories expand on the world, the people, the religions and magic of a setting similar, yet uniquely different than anything you’ve read before.

Just Anaz

The Fallow Chronicles | Book 1  Anaz of the clan Varkut was kidnapped from his family at the age of eleven and given a life of pleasure few could afford…so long as he killed when told and kept the crowds cheering. Now, six years later, his secret to winning in the Pit is waning right when he’s given his chance at freedom. Can he find a way to get past himself, remember what it means to be an Ascenic and do the right thing—even if it costs him his life?

The Things We Bury

The Fallow Chronicles | Book 2  It’s only when you think you might lose everything that you wonder if you ever had anything worth fighting for in the first place. A generations-old war with an undead army and their bone wall. A traumatized Anaz finding his way in a new world. Daveon Therentell, a young father in a failing business, a failing marriage and a life couched in lies. When these three collide, all illusions are stripped away and what is revealed may well destroy everything. The Things We Bury is the heart-wrenching, yet touching, tale of what it means to risk everything for others, to redeem a life of lies. To love again. With dozens of illustrations from the author, this tale will leave a deep impact.

Praise for Just Anaz

A surprisingly touching short story of a boy who's lost himself, and the girl who helps him remember what redemption really means.

A very cool, thought provoking fantasy tale

A very cool and thought provoking fantasy tale! The writing is gritty and visceral at once while exploring the question of finding inner peace. Paperback seems well made and the artwork is lovely, spattered throughout every 4 pages or so. The world and characters introduced in this story make one curious what other stories they might hold. I already recommended and lent to a friend but look forward to reading it again.
